Juvenile Diversion Program

The Juvenile Diversion Program is a Gulf Ridge Council Triumph! In the spring of 2006, Gulf Ridge Council launched a new and exciting program to bring the values of Scouting to youth desperately in need. Our Juvenile Diversion program (which came to be referred to locally as "JAKE" for "Juveniles Acquiring Knowledge and Experience") is offered to youth who are first-time, non-violent offenders as an alternative to the traditional judicial system. The results of this program have been nothing short of remarkable.
