2013 National Jamboree

July 12-24, 2013

The 2013 Jamboree will be held at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia.

The Gulf Ridge Council will hold a Jamboree Round Up February 25 at 10:00 am at the Council Service Center.

The Gulf Ridge Council is sending 3 troops (36 Scouts; 4 leaders each) which include the following:

• 108 Scouts
• At least 12 years old and First Class by 7/27/2013
• Not not yet 18 years old by 7/24/13
• 8 Venture Scouts (coed)
• Complete the 8th grade or be at least 14 years old by 7/15/13
• Not yet 21 years old by 7/24/13
• Includes a 3 day tour of Washington DC before the Jamboree

To Register:

• Sign-up at Summit Bechtel Reserve
• Total fee is $1,800. All transportation and lodging is included.
• Payment Schedule:
• Payment 1: $250 is due by March 1, 2012
• Payment 2: $500 is due by August 1, 2012
• Payment 3: $500 is due by December 1, 2012
• Payment 4: $550 is due by March 1, 2013
• Fees should be submitted to Jeannie Upton at the Council Office
• Space is limited. A waiting list will be established.
