Christine Crowell, District Chairman…I would like to thank our District Committee for their dedicated leadership to the program, the leaders, and the Scouts of Thunderbird. You have all been working so hard to bring our District together and it shows! Last year our team earned the well deserved status of Centennial Quality District and we are well on our way to wrapping up another very successful year thanks to all of your hard work and dedication.
David Lane, District Commissioner - Our District is in need of Unit Commissioners. Unit Commissioners are crucial to the success of our units and ultimately to our District. There is so much knowledge in our District that we have not tapped into. We are appealing to anyone that would like to “adopt” a unit and become a Unit Commissioner to email or call me to find out more information about how to sign up. If you are a Webelos leader or a Webelos parent that has a Scout that will or has crossed over into Boy Scouts and would like to continue to help in some capacity, we would love to talk to you about becoming a Unit Commissioner so you could share your many years of knowledge with another unit or perhaps the unit that you’re leaving. Please consider becoming a Unit Commissioner today and giving back to the program that has given you and your Scout so much!
Roundtable is held the first Thursday of every month at 7:15pm at the first Presbyterian Church on Lake Hollingsworth. Come
